Visibility isn't self-promotion or extroversion. It's the deliberate practice of making sure the three to five people who influence your next opportunity can describe — in one sentence — the business problem you solve.

Start with the one-sentence answer

Before your next leadership meeting, write down the sentence you want repeated about you when you're not in the room. Then audit whether your current projects, updates, and relationships actually produce that sentence.

Then build the evidence

Tie your work to revenue, cost, risk, or growth. Executives don't promote effort; they promote people whose results they can point to in a board deck.
